Your business may have more folks in your team other than yourself. For this reason you may want to setup more Users for your Latipay App. The initial account you setup when signing up with Latipay is your Admin account – you have full control. However, there are two other types of users you can setup for your team; ‘Manager’ and ‘Sales’, please see below for the details regarding the different permissions.
Manager: A User with Manager permissions is able to View, Add and Refund transactions. Managers can also View, edit and withdraw funds from your E-Wallet. Managers can View other Users in your team but cannot Add, Edit or Disable said Users. Managers can view your profile but not Edit it. Managers cannot View, Add, Edit or Disable your Bank Account.
Sales: A User with Sales permissions is able to View and Add transactions but not able to process Refunds. Sales Users can also View your E-Wallet but not Edit or Withdraw funds. Sales Users cannot View, Add, Edit or Disable other Users in your team. Sales Users cannot View or Edit your Profile. Sales Users also cannot View, Add or Disable your Bank Account number.
Users with either a Manager or Sales role are able to login to the Latipay App with the above permissions respectively.
To setup a new User simply tap the (****) button on the bottom-right of your home page.
This takes you to your Account page. From here you will want to tap on ‘All Users’.
This takes you to the ‘All Users’ page. You will see the list of current users (by default you will only have your Admin User in this list). To create a new User simply tap on ‘Create a New User’ at the top of your screen.
You will then be prompted to choose which Role (Manager or Sales) you want for your new User. Please refer to the top section of this guide to understand the different permissions differences between the two. Once you’ve chosen the Role tap ‘Create’ at the bottom of the page.
Here you can enter the User Details including Username, User Email, and select which wallet they may have access to. Once you have accurately filled in the fields tap ‘Create’ on the bottom of your page. An email has now been sent to the email address you entered for your new User including their temporary password.
Your new User can either download the Latipay App on their own device and/or you may only be using one device in which case you can simply logout and have your new User login.
When your new User logs in for the first time they will need to use the temporary password included in the confirmation email.
Upon entering their temporary password they will be prompted to create a new secure password – simply follow the onscreen instructions.
The new User will now be able to operate the Latipay App within the limitations of the permissions delegated.
Manage/Disable Users: As the Latipay App Admin Role, you have the ability to disable any of your delegated Users. To do this tap the (****) button on the bottom-right of your home page. This brings you to your ‘Account’ page. Tap on ‘All Users’ and navigate to the specific User you want to Manage/Disable.
Here you can either update which E-Wallet(s) they have permission to – simply uncheck/check those that you allow your User to have access to. To disable this User simply tap on ‘Disable User’.
This will be followed with a confirmation pop-up. Click ‘Yes’ to confirm the disable.
